    Hello from the desert

    Hi guys,

I frequent many forums from auto, hobbies, motorcycles, electronics and DIY but I think this forum is going to be at the top of my list. I've made many tools to help me with my hobbies and projects around the house over the years, mostly small, simple and crude but effective and cheap. I recently retired and moved so most of my stuff is in boxes but will post pictures of the tools when I settle in someday. Right now I'm in the process of finishing my workshop so I have a place to tinker and get organized. Anyway, I have already saved some threads from this forum on things I will make for my shop, and I hope to contribute as much as I learn. For now, here are a few pics of the shop I built.

    Thanks, Todd.

    Hi Todd,

Welcome - glad to have you here!

Looks as though you've got the beginnings of a great workshop space. What's the first thing you're planning to build when it's ready?

    Ken

Thanks Ken, I have a list longer than my arm, mostly house projects but here's what I have waiting for shop projects. C200 Honda and a few CT 70s that I painted/restored before we moved and boxed up waiting for completion. I think we all rode them as kids but I cought the bug again a few years ago.

Here's a few I restored, Z50 and CT 70. I painted the Z to match my old GTO so when I go to the car shows I have something to ride around.

Fantastic - love the matching Z & GTO!

You're in great company here; lots of car and bike guys (including me!). Plus everything else remotely mechanical and/or creative.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

    Ken

Hello funflyer! Glad to see another gearhead here. That GTO and scooter are a cool pair!
