Hello all from a new member

Hello,I would like to introduce myself and say what a cool forum this is.I happened on this site looking for ideas on setting up a hydraulic press and a sheet metal bender and found some really great ones.I am a welder fabricator by trade and enjoy tinkering with metal in my spare time.I have most of the basics in my shop.2 lathes,benchtop mill,welder etc.My hobby is buying older 1970's era john deere garden tractors and converting them into mini versions of the big ones.I hope as time goes by i will be able to contribute back to the forum.and look forward to seeing all the unique tools and gadgets that show up on this forum. cheers all Stan

Sounds as though you've got a great background and shop setup for custom fabrication. Those mini-tractors sound very cool; let's see some pics!

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools, subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
