    Hello to all!

    Hi Everyone,

After lurking here for a while, I have finally decided to sign-up.
I find many of the posts here useful and inspiring. Thanks!

I am interested in all kinds of tools. My current metal working tools are: a 1916 Cincinnati Model "3S" milling machine, a 1937ish Southbend 9" lathe, a couple saws, a couple welders, and a bunch of wood working tools too (table saw, bandsaw, sander, thickness planner).

I am always looking for new ways to do things.

    Thanks for having me!

    Hi that_other_guy - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Sounds like you'll fit in well here, especially with 50-100+ year old machines! What's next up on your build list? Let me know and I'll post some links for you.

One pending project is building a small baggage carrier for a friends motorcycle.
I got some ideas on paper, but want to draw them up in Fusion-360 to present them.
....and I want to get the project finished before riding season is over!

I haven't taken any time off from work yet, but also have a number of things to do on my truck:
-raise the front end so that the harness doesn't drag too low when the snow plow is mounted; I hate that most trucks these days are so low at the front....they call it style, I call it useless. They do sell "levelling kits" to lift the front end, but I am considering making my own......it'll just take longer as I'd need it apart before I can size things and mark bolt holes, etc.
-I need to find a better mount location for the truck winch and plow light controls, I keep flipping them with my knee when I get in and out
-I am considering swapping out the factory front bumper for a a simple madd-max big pipe. the current one is ~13" tall and forced the snow plow mount to be too low to begin with

    Thanks,
