I have long been interested in how things work. Like most like minded people who have this interest, I started early simply pulling things apart to see how they worked.

As I grew up, learning how to put things back together and then developing the skills that supported this process has been the underlying process that drives my interest in all things mechanical.

Being able to consider and experience many of the ideas that others are able to produce reminds me that no one person knows it all, so ther is so much more to learn. I see this site as a perfect opportunity to develop my understanding of what I don't know.
