Hello all. I'm newbie here. Came by to look for homemade tool ideas. My workshop burnt down and I am in the process of rebuilding. Just looking to see what I can make instead of buying,

Sorry about the workshop. I lost a house in a wildfire years ago. I went straight to Harbor Freight, and have been building up my tools slowly over the years.

What would you like to build first?

Sorry to hear about the fire - I can't even imagine. Glad that things are looking up, though!

What sort of homemade tools do you like best? What'll be first on your build list once the shop is up and running again?

Thanks for the welcome. Fires do suck. Trying to list everything for insurance was daunting, You'll never remember everything you had. Take pictures and make lists.
I found this site while searching for dust collection/control and air cleaning so that is what I will probably start with. I dream a lot more than I do so there will probably be lots of ideas in here. About 3 to 4 years to retirement so I can stockpile ideas now.
