Heat for a month

THe funny thing about wood stoves are they love to eat wood small of large they require a supply of th estuff to do thei r job which is to keep you warm.
out in our woods a large dead limb war ripped from a Mesquite tree last summer. Now I probably already have enough wood put away for the winter and if need be I can always do like I did this morning. the wife and I decided that since the temperature was in the high 30's there is nothing in the world that will warm you better when outside than cutting and loading fire wood.
So using 1 tank of chainsaw fuel 1 hour of cutting and loading 1 tree limb to make 1 load = 1 month or more of heat for the house.
It is too bad any one who are smart enough to use wood heat around me have their own trees because we probably have enough dead limbs in our woods to heat 100 homes for several winters. It looks like we may have to start cutting the limbs tying small bundles and marketing them or start grinding them into saw dust.
