Hay harvesting machine. Not sure if I'm pronouncing this correctly, but I believe this one is called a Zgrabljalnik Rapid Twister. Beautiful scenery, steep slope, and this enthusiastic young guy looks like the right man for the job.

Why does it look like the brush is spinning away from the deflector?

It's just the frame-rate of the camera making it look as though it's spinning that way. The hay being picked up by the tines tells the true story. The drive wheels also appear to be rotating the wrong direction.

I was thinking it may have been the stroboscopic effect but hadn't notices this in many modern digital videos.
I had seen it on a few videos of helicopters though.
