Wasn’t there a pistol that fired trounds quite a few decades ago?
If I remember it was a poor seller and never caught on.

I believe that was the Dardick revolver, and no it did not sell very well. The ammo is worth a lot to collectors.
Did anyone else read the Amtrak Wars series as a kid? I seem to remember they used a compressed air triple shot flechette..
