    I made a very similar tool, but I made the shaft long enough so I could stand up with it and I also made three prongs with the center being longer. Same principle as a piloted hole saw. Much easier on the wrist too.

    Using my 4 ampere-hour battery pack, the drill runs for over 1 hour continuously. I can remove weeds in one square foot in about 30 seconds.
