I needed a 1 1/2" wrench for the adjustable feet that I made for the lathe table I'm building (there'll be other posts on those later). Since the table is built from scratch, I figured that the wrench should be, and I've never made a proper hand wrench before, so it was something new to try.
It's made of 1/2" square and and 1/2 x 3/16-ish mild steel.
The only planned aspects were the inner dimension of the jaw, the angle of the jaw and the center of gravity. I started at the jaw, and worked back from there. The handle is an I-beam of sorts, with a bit of Art Deco flair. I intend to clean it up and paint it, but that may never happen.
