looks exactly like a Brakefix riveter, I used to own a steampunk that had a built in cam operated lever that operated similar to how you have retrofitted yours I also had a Milford foot riveter modified to pneumatic which was great for production work
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
