This process makes for a near perfect flat smooth level surface but not without a few issues of its own due to the high moisture content to achieve maximum fluidity and flow additives must be employed for proper curing getting the trapped air out the way he is doing it is essential otherwise gas bubbles will form and rise as the solutio cures, and some insects are attracted to the evaporating water.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
I had 3000 sq ft of that installed as I was building my home in 1988-1909. The mix was not nearly that thin. That much water, even with fluidizing additives, will cause excess shrinkage of the material. Since there is less material over the pipes it will not shrink/settle as much so the pipes will be clearly visible in the finished surface. If the bumps from the pipes are not addressed, the pipe layout will transfer through the finish floor.
I borrowed dehumidifiers from all of my friends, and bought a couple more for 10 total, running full time it still took close to two weeks to remove the excess moisture from the house.
