    Hi All,

Just joined today, I'm a telecom engineer and my interests are classic british motorcycles, steam locomotives and I've recently purchased a colchester lathe and have been doing some thread cutting and turning. Not to bad considering I'm new to it! Eventually I would like to make a scaled down steam loco , a little way off yet.

Hope I haven't said too much!

    Regards Grahamb

    Hi Grahamb,

    Welcome!

I'm with you on classic British bikes. I went down the rabbit hole a few years ago on a '69 Triumph T120R.

The steam locomotive project sounds great; I hope you're planning to fully document (and share!) your progress. Do you have a particular historic locomotive you'd like to model?
