Watched it a few times, kind of fun. I think it fell and fired, though improbable without being gripped. However the energy he expended scaling counter sure stopped in a hurry, because now she had it.....fast!
I'll surmise the magazine ejected and both grip panels broke off (may have been missing). There is at least 1 item of that comparable size on cashier's side of counter, 13 seconds in. At 12 seconds, I thought there was a muzzle blast, that's a stain on floor, but there is a smaller object in the air too, like a spinning cartridge case, or shattered grip panel. At 14, she's holding it by the slide, seems the grip frame is empty, the white counter and openings are identical.
He's no better at draw and present than picking size of pants. Aside from awkward retrieval of pistol, the clerk was quick thinking. If there was a discharge, it'd be empty, or rendered unable to fire possible chambered round, with the magazine out.
She is composed; at 01 she takes bite of a snack bar, at 10 he's long gone she almost sets gun on counter but heads off elsewhere, and already taking another bite!
Cheap pistols have brittle, injection molded grips, of thermoset plastics. Shiny edges and sharp checkering, but not up to field service.
