    the method is cool my question is why would you put film on a windshield
    Never try to tell me it can't be done
    When I have to paint I use KBS products

    It's likely a luxury car that is having "Impact Safety Material", "rock shield", etc. applied.

    It seems to me that one accidental dry wipe from the windshield wipers would permanently scratch the soft plastic film.
