I built a die holder with a guide: it is very easy, especially with large thread pitches, to start off wrong.
This then means that the die holder will stop and the thread will be wrong.
In particular with length over 2*diameter of screw; using the calibrated bushes for the thread diameters instead, the thread is performed correctly, the chip itself keeps the bush in place.
The sensation is that of turning a tool that embraces the piece, really beautiful !! I'm really happy with the result and it's a super addition to my workshop!!
