    The simplest thing would have been to tie a length of rope or a few lengths of rope to the top of the wall just long enough to allow full vertical stature with the other en ds tied to an anchor point behind them as they went up with the wall the slack in the ropes would decrease until tight. Thye braces would prevent it from falling back on them and the ropes would prevent it from toppling further. Maybe they should watch someone erecting a 100 ft guyed tower by himself using only a gin pole and a hand winch
