Hi Folks, My name is SteveM. 67 years old and got involved in this about 2 years ago. Always found it fascinating and realized if not now then when? LOL. My shop is about 700 sq/ft with 12x36 Shen Wai lathe, 9x49 Shop Fox mill, along with assorted grinders, band saw, compressor, etc, etc. I'm self employed so my time is not my own but shop is located in rear of my business so I can sneak away at times and still be present when needed. So far I've mostly made scrap but am beginning to see a very dim light at the end of the tunnel, at least enough to keep me interested. I am very fortunate to have an experienced machinist friend who's very generous with his time and knowledge! Look forward to learning from all of you.
