    Does it look like the side of that bin was damaged before the collapse? There did not appear to be an operator in the tractor. Looks like that knew a failure was imminent and set the tractor there to try to relieve some stress, allowing the grain to escape.

    In the full screen mode it looks like there may be foot prints leading away from the tractor, so it could have been placed there to stem the damage but I rather think whoever is filming the video rammed the side of the silo either intentionally or inadvertently from not paying attention to where they were going. Who ever it happened doesn't really matter now as someone just became very unpopular

    Excellent example of why, when recording videos or taking pictures, we should hold the cell phone with the long side horizontal just like the orientation of a big screen TV.

    Almost looks like the tractor hit the side of the bin and instead of backing out left it there in hopes it would not collapse or at least didn't kill him when it did! Most farmers know the newer style of bin is only stable when completely in tact structurally. Once theres a big enough weak spot it's all over.
