    Good morrow.

    Good morrow, good morrow.

I'm Hashswag and I just love to make things.
It's far more interesting than buying something and way more rewarding.
that'll have to do for now, busy busy busy, no rest for the wicked.

    Cool

Good morning Jon. and anyone else who might be reading this post.

    thanks for the welcoming message,
About me? I'm a unique, different, somewhat crazy individual with a twisted sense of humour, I love technology, science, and how things work, and will sacrifice any objects life in the name of knowledge and progress.

At the moment I'm busy with a motorcycle rebuild, a Honda NSR250 I found stripped down to a bare frame and all her bits in boxes and bottles and anything capable of containing the poor gals innards.
in between that I tackle anything that tickles my fancy. right now I am trying to make a cold heat soldering iron I keep burning mine out, I have developed a keen interest in electronics and one of the goals I have set myself is to build descent audio amplifier utilising only salvaged components. so any old tech ends up on my operating table, soldering iron burning for hours on end at times. then when I need it for a repair somewhere I have to buy a new one. and who wans to buy things when you can make them?

And then of course we all want to stick it to the man, so renewable resources is another one at the top of my list.

Anyway, enough yapping from me for now, knowledge is priceless, so I always have a lot of questions, I am off to search the forums and feed the grey matter within the bounds of my cranium.

    Hi Hashswag,

    Welcome!

I think all the bike guys present are going to require some pics of that NSR250 restoration…
