Excellent. I recall the K-Tel, Ronco, and Fleming bottle and jug cutters from the 60's and early 70's...

Drinking glasses (glass, plastic or paper) have a tiny lip around the external edge; otherwise its a dribble glass, as found in novelty stores. Manually, done with a glass blowers torch.

I got curious and decided to google these glass bottle cutters. I thought this was interesting, so I share with the readers of the forum:

K-Tel; recall the outfit, not the ad. Has British accent, may not have been US broadcast.
Ronco; who forgets Ron Popiel? At twice cost of K-Tel, but a more 'developed' appearance, wouldn't go so far calling it a professional tool, I bet there are still some around.
Fleming? No clue. What is evident, hair-boy has next to zero dexterity, or comprehension of glass cutting in general, probably no shop either. All three; cameraman, spectator, demonstrator seem to have ingested tads of 'medicine' prior to filming.
    Sincerely,

Well, now I know how to use the Fleming bottle cutter someone gave me years ago. Actually, I think I have two and I don`t think I have ever used them.

One aspect of the Fleming sort of interesting is their 'hammer'. I think scoring and candle is more dependable, but the pivot lit a bulb, kind of. It really needs a bushing shaped sliding weight with a set screw.
