My question is will there be enough oil sling transfer from the gears for the top mounted gear box or did you make provisions for there to be residual oil retention for the bearings. A lot of times just a simple cavity to hold a small amount of oil will be enough until the rotation of the gears can carry more oil up, having a thin faux gear or disk that does nothing but rotate in the oil cavity will begin to imeadiatly transfer oil along the upper train at start up and provide the needed lubrication until the gear train can replenish
