GarageBuilds.net: Garage/Shop by tommycomfort

This 40x76 garage, built by tommycomfort on Pro-Touring.com, is a great example of a years-long huge well-equipped garage build.

The nitty gritty:

-stick framed 2x6 walls with 12' ceilings in the main work area
-40x26 area for a machine and wood shop, as well as a storage and a paint area
-40x26 upstairs area
-both a two-post and a four-post lift
-electric and wood heat
-metal roof

We see enough build threads to know that some kinds of builds rarely include friends-and-family help (like the airplane builds at PlaneBuilds.net), while others, like the builds at CabinBuilds.net and GarageBuilds.net, are often just the opposite.

This garage went up with considerable help from various family members and National Guard buddies. Most weren't professionals, but they were plentiful and hard-working, and they ended up building a great garage.
