The slide itself is very simple. Just a 2x4 frame screwed to 5/8 pressure treated plywood. I then added fourteen 2inch casters to the underside of the tray. The addition of folding leg supports allows me to drop my cargo in less than 3 minutes.
I'm not sure what the max. Weight capacity is but I know that all my tools are at least 400lbs and no sign of the table bowing, cracking, etc.
