    Thinking of doing some metal casting or blacksmithing? You're going to need a forge. Fortunately, they're relatively simple to construct and can be made from a variety of common materials, from brake drums to coffee cans. Check out these videos for some good ideas:

    Really dig the last one. This kid Alex will go places. He's mostly into woodworking and made a bandsaw, router lathe and some other jigs.

    I too like the video made by Alex over four years ago. He has come a long way since then and has a very cool YouTube channel (now has over 116,000 subscribers). Lots of very interesting builds and a great teacher for all skill levels.
