Ford was so satisfied with the '87 Mustang that significant changes were made to the '88. But that doesn't mean that it's perfect, there is always room for improvement.

Builder Duncan McDougal on StangNet.com bought a nicely preserved white convertible albeit with engine problems. For the the restore, he rebuilt the short block and tranny, replaced the shocks, struts, slapped in 5-lugs and changed the stock gray upholstery to white. The restore somehow resulted in a contemporary look which is truly eye-catching.
