been there done that many times, though not if a ford tractor. many people will pound them in, witch works ok.with the exception that when you hit the bottom while driving sleves in they will bounce back.. many times ypou can heat the block witch helps. but you do need some sort of press weather it be hyd or just bolting a head on with head gasket. or when you deck it and finish hone it and it all looks great then assemble it and after some heat cycled and usage the sleve seats fully....and the head gadget may leek..Ive seen it many times.on way to many blocks. AI have never heared it addressed untill I looked on the LA sleve site for motorcycle sleves where they state to heat, insert the sleve then put it in the press add pressure till it fully cools. while cooling to sleve will also creep upwards.so thats another issue and reason for letting it cool in the press. for a engine thats getting more then 1 sleve I sugest torqueing the head on with the sleves cut down to about .005" high ( all the same hight). you can also use a torque plate witch is what I used.but not every shop has a good assortment of torque plates, though they really do need them and they pay for them slevs fast. although they will not help my spellen.
I never took a cut that much. .060" was the max at 1 pass.no reason to get in a hurry or make that much heat. it kinda looks like the boreing bar is moving....in that slow motion thick cut....I hope not.
