Fold-up ladder?
+'s Convenient. Compact. Portable.
-'s Effectively too short. Narrow rungs; immediately very uncomfortable on soles of feet. Doubtful it will achieve any III/II/I load rating. Plastic, but is it non-conductive?
I have quite a selection of ladders, 2' to 24', and most with specific intent. This fold-up toy, while novel, won't be joining them.

I can't imagine my size 13 EEE's climbing on those thin rungs. Kile TM51 I have a managery of ladders some aluminum telescope folding some extension some simple step ladders some non conductive even a tubular telescoping one that is only 30" tall when collapsed and over 12 feet tall when fully extended all have a rating of 300+ lbs 1 even folds to become a scaffold.
But I don't see that thing joining my selection

Definitely Novel but those rungs don't look like they would be comfortable in Flip-Flops.

Yeah, niche for sure. I wondered if the niche was a specialty police or military application, because the cardboard box behind the guy's legs is labeled "bomb suit". This might make sense where portability/collapsibility/weight is of great concern.

Nice catch on the bomb suit box...missed that one. Think you are right for the uses being specialty, low weight/use and portability.

This special forces train entry is most impressive. From the directed window explosive, flash bang and the rolls for each person in harmony in dual entry...I want these guys if I'm ever hijacked on a train.

After Jon directed our attention to the cardboard box the folding ladder might even be considered an expendable item or something only used in case of an emergency like having to look over a high fence

Doesn't appear too strenuous; though after a little practice. Transition from climb to over the rail leaves little room for error. Quieter and more sure than a grapple, but there are a lot of exposed personnel.
Seems no end to usefulness of bamboo.
