I had a safety incident on a site one time. A guy used a torch to cut through a piece of wide flange, but it was still stuck together with slag. Then while standing under it, proceeded to start beating on it with a sledge hammer to break it loose. When they inevitable happened it broke his foot. Idiot. Some people are just too stupid to function.

What were they "thinking"? That the block would just float in the air?

I'd imagine the dropping of the floor piece was intentional, not the drill.
