fishing tool to retrieve things down hole

just my luck I somehow reversed the drill motor while honing the 3" cylinder with the hone all the way down hole
so I made a fishing tool to retrieve it out of a length of 1//2x1/8" flat bar

If you are going to go fishing you might as well get the daily limit
the make shift clean out swab came off the end of the pole and I had to try my luck again
Glad the game warden didn't show up because I haven't renewed this years hunting and fishing combo yet

I see in photo 2 your long hone extension shaft with plastic disks to keep the shaft concentric to the bore of the cylinder.
That's the tool of interest to me in this post. I doubt if I'll ever do anything longer then my tiny skid steer cylinders, but this seems a good thing to keep in mind.
    Thanks.

Per observations on fish tool poaching the honing set-up, which county would give you trouble?
