    Hi all,
As per title, this is my first time for posting a comment.
I live in West Wales and am a retired maths teacher. Interested in wood, especially wood turning. I have a Union Graduate lathe, and a Viceroy, both nice, sturdy, heavy duty lathes that were built to last, although dated by comparison with today's machines.
I also do some metal mangling, and have a floor standing vertical milling machine, a Colchester Master lathe and an Eagle manual surface grinder. The metal working kit is for use when I need to make or repair stuff. It's the woodworking kit that I use for enjoyment.
At the moment I am looking at making my own wood turning tools, either carbide tipped or from hss.
