Fireworks sparkler shield. Not a terrible contribution from the mommy-blog world. Despite the iconic kid-holding-sparkler 4th of July photograph, just one spark from those burns flesh terribly.

Kids with sparklers seems like a "Hold my beer" situation, so using a beer cup makes sense(?).
