    I bet he won't do THAT again!

    I'm not sure how hydrant caps are made, but it looks like he's turning the wrench clockwise, which I would think would tighten the cap. Anyone know if those are left-hand threads or bayonet fitting? The old hydrant cap in my front yard has standard threads.

    He should have checked if the water valve was on. It obviously was as the cap was leaking water. I have done hydrant flow testing what happened there could have killed him. It's a very foolhardy thing to do.

    Geeeeeze that small thing sticking out the top of that fire hydrant is the open/close valve for the water. Why would a FIREMAN not know that? Maybe he just stole a pair of boots and is PRETENDING to be a FIREMAN!
