I finally got a round tuit and made some clamps to fit my welding table from some inexpensive Horror Freight bar clamps. I cut off the lower jaw and welded on custom end fittings in their place which slide and rotate in the slots of my welding table to anywhere on the surface of my table. Because the lower jaw isn't in line with the hand screw they do lean a little bit when tightened but that can be compensated for and their versatility far outweighs any operational nuisance. My TIG welding is getting better but I still won't brag about it.
