Do you suppose that low slung cab with the slopped windshield is for aerodynamics? or just keeping inline with Ferrie's poor visibility making the driver have to recline to drive the stupid looking thing

Yeah that visibility looks atrocious. Also it's weird they would put rear tracks on the vehicle with a beefed up turning radius. Looks like an afterthought (that very few people would option when ordering). But who knows.

I know of a couple of Articulating John Deere tractors in my area that have tracks on all 4 corners. Knowing how the sand can be in some areas it is not a wonder why. Even adding duels on all 4 corners sometimes will not fully transmit the torque output available to the ground without filling the tires with fluid, which some farmers are reluctant to do anymore because of soil compaction. By adding tracks they can gain 3 to 4 times the surface area on the ground without adding more weight per square foot even though they can make the tractor much heavier if need be, to allow them to pull the 60-foot-wide implements
But they want their cabs as high up as possible to be able to see what they are doing

    Hi Fellows.

This tractor is for orchard use. Low height to prevent smashing into branches...

I have an orchard, this year was an easy one with just 25 spraying runs.

The tracks prevents compacting the soil.

And orchard tractors need to make lots of sharp turns.

Vineyard tractors need to be narrow but without height limits...
