    pretty much like a pair of ice grip pliers but the jaws look to be much wider to grip the full length of the key it would pull woodruff keys as well

    It has 2 thumb screws so it could grip with 1 then lift with the other kind of hard to tell by just the one picture.
    But you probably just tighten the jaws then rock it back and forth
