    Fast garlic slicing - GIF

Fast garlic slicing. Not exactly sure I would try this, but it looks great in the GIF!

This reminds me of the scene from Goodfellas where they are preparing dinner in prison, and Paulie is slicing garlic with a razor blade. 0:25 video:

NB: the cleaver blade is flat to the block surface; the remaining piece is thicker than the slices. He ain't coming close to the tender skin of his hand.

Ok I'm not keen to swinging a knife towards my fingers like that so I have 1 of those gimmicky slicing things that I use and can rub a radish back and forth on it at a very thin setting so fast my hand is a blur. the slices are so thin you can almost see through them and the good part is my fingers are never in or near the pathway of a blade.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I've been doing it all wrong all these years. I just take a garlic bulb and crush in I'm my hands then take 3 or 4 cloves and rub them together to shuck off the sluff.
