    Fabulous steam shovel model

In a previous post I mentioned the incredible model of a steam shovel being built by Chris Rueby. The complete build thread is here...

    http://www.modelenginemaker.com/inde...topicseen.html

The model is now complete and Chris has made available a short video of its operating features. Have a look; I'm sure you'll be as impressed as I am...

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Amazing craftsmanship for this working model. This would be an excellent addition to the Craftsman Museum in Carlsbad

I've already contacted them and asked them to add Chris' models and other work (e.g. RC submarines) to their website. With a bit of luck he might even be named craftsman of the year. Regardless, his work is of a quality that demands more exposure.

One further note, Paul, that I'm sure you will appreciate. All this work was done on Sherline equipment!

Chris' model of a Lombard log hauler is also a work of incredible craftsmanship. The full build thread is here...

    Marv,

Joe Martin would be proud that his Sherline equipment made these models and likewise for the Craftsman Museum in Carlsbad.

    Thank you, Paul
