I have been to several quarries Granite Limestone Sandstone Marble, slate, and others All have their own methods of harvesting. their product. Sawing. drilling blasting Cleaving with chisels. the only way to get a near perfect rectangular block of stone like shown is to cut the bottom and all 4 sides of each successive layer.
the block being raised was precut and is being pulled from an inventory of blocks.

Exactly. This is staged. I grew up a few miles from a granite quarry. This is not how they move out blocks. Even the ones that are fully cut via wire saw. Or cracked loose via bore holes and frozen ice. Much faster by the way.
