Excess Strap Storage Clip

My kayak seat has a number of straps and hooks. Each strap has some excess, which makes for a lot of clutter. This tangle of excess strap prevented me from seeing the hooks and the D-rings that anchor them.

I wanted a simple way to store all of these excess strap ends yet have access if further adjustments were needed. The solution was an old friend - PVC pipe.

Not a bad idea. I just use velcro straps when needing to deal with situations like this.
