Preparing for a Nor’Easter!

This is the seventh episode of the 18’ sailboat build and is all about the tools I’m using to cut the bevel required on the transom bottom (same method for all others) and how I cut/grind the bevel. I then bevel notches in the main frames to fit the keelson and install a cleat on the transom bottom to accept the end of the keelson.

I wanted to finish the installation of the keelson and other stringers in this video, but weather, other obligations, and preparing for an oncoming Nor’Easter with 60mph wind gusts & torrential rains cut time short.
