    dont work on a bug either... as for the lucas....well atleast the japaneese put some smoke in thier stuff to let you know when it was dead....let the smoke out and it's dead...lucas apparently ran out of smoke on many...boy they musta of really went through a lot of smoke.

    My wife had a TR-4a when we got married. Had to change the entire wiring harness. Also had to remember to keep the carburetors filled with oil.

    Do you know why British Leyland doesn't make sewing machines? Because they can't figure out how to make them leak oil.

    I had a 1967 MGB. Positive ground with two six volt batteries. I switched it over to one 12 volt battery and negative ground which required isolating the tachometer from the body. For the MGB and my 1969 Mini I found that Marvel Mystery Oil worked best in the SU carburetors...
