Hi All
I purchased this Edwards corner notcher from Ebay and it was in a sorry state (hence it was reasonably cheap). It had obviously had a hard life. It had seen several bad repairs made to it over its life, but it was not too far gone to invest a bit of time, money and effort in getting it to a usable state.
Unfortunately i can't find any original photos before I stripped it down and repaired the notcher. After degreasing and cleaning all parts I had to make a new foot treadle and linkage and sharpen the cutting blades. A total repaint and new safety guard and stops were also made. The photos show the finished notcher ready for use.

New foot treadle and pivot shaft plus linkage.
