Easy project: Center Finder Tool

I made this little tool a few years ago and still use it a lot in my shop. It's easy to make and (for me) very useful.

Suggestions for DIY:

If you want to make it easier: Use square stock instead of the round Brass.
If you want to make it more durable: Use a carbide Scriber.
If you want to improve it: Make extra rings on the pins to keep it level
If you want to make a better version: Make a double parallel that it connected

I was working on something like this with square stock aluminum but got set aside. I got some great ideas from your version. Time to revive my project again! lol

Nice tool! You will likely get better results by minimizing the scribes stick out. This will limit rocking thus putting the scribe tip off center.
