Double-handed wood splitting mayhem - GIF

Gentleman splits wood. I must admit, I've never tried it this way.

Ya it mite be a little faster, but it looks to dangerous to me! On several hits there was little control and was also to fast to acquire good footing, nope I'll just keep doing it the way I have for 60 years and be safe, can't afford to lose a foot or an ankle!

Judging by his arms back in the day I would have liked to arm wrestle him. On another note I agree that he was courting with disaster the way he was round housing those axes. But if he will pay for his own insurance I have about 10 cords of dead mesquite trees I need to fell I'd me more than happy to watch him try and split them
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Obviously not a member of HomemadeTools.net or he would have bolted a P.T.O. to the truck and built a hydraulic splitter with a conveyor belt to load the truck while he was splitting logs.
