DIY Screw Locating Gauge (Plywood Boat Building)

Whenever I am building a hard-chined plywood boat, Fitting and installing the bottom panel(s) can be a bit tricky in terms of locating the fasteners in the precise location. It is actually quite easy and no problem at all though, if you have a couple of screw locating gauges. They will be a bit different for most boat designs, so these are tools you make yourself out of scrap materials. I’ll show you how.
