    Diy exhaust pipe fix.

I had to fix my friends exhaust pipe last sunday.
Couldn't get suitable parts from a store.
    So, i used diy methods.

Hammered ends of two pipes to cone shape.

    Welded them.

Adjusted widht of the cones suitable for the connector ( two Piece "French" Manifold Clamp ) with suitable lenght piece of pipe. ( 10 mm long )

    Clamp used:

Welds are made with stick. Little tricky task with rusted pipe, but can be done.

And here is the sound of the fixed pipe.

Backround noise of the yard is nearly louder.

Working fix, If you have to do it without pre manufactured parts.

Stainless 316 pipe with 1.6mm wall can be shaped with a ten ton press.

I can make my own stainless connecting pieces.
To be used with exhaust pipe, dust connector etc..

    Tightened connection is very tight.

Tool can be used to make more mushroom shaped ends too.
