That is an amazing carving tool. I believe it will be much more controllable than just using hand carving tools with less fatigue also. I will have to watch the video again to better understand the mechanism and how it functions.

Is the eccentric collar on the motor shaft acting as a wobble plate?
Great project for anyone carving or engraving.
