My son wants to build a micro lathe to turn small plastic and nylon pieces. It was thanks to searching for a "micro 4 jaw chuck" that we've found you guys.
Looking forward to the contents of the site and the almost free ebook!

How did I enjoy the ebook? I am still trying to recover my jaw after it dropped!
Look, I grew up poor in Brazil and learned a lot of English (and Spanish) reading and re-re-re-reading Popular Mechanics issues that I would buy second hand with the meager "allowance" my late dad could afford. Amazing articles about making everything yourself. My favorite feature however was the "workshop of the month" (the "taller del mes" ): I would spend hours (well... ) admiring those garages or sheds with walls full of tools neatly organized, the possibilities I saw in them!
That is how I enjoyed the ebook! An awesome ride which included not only the answer I was originally seeking but a lot of others that I had, and some more.
Those include building a workbench, a jig for bicycle frames, the stick welder using re-purposed microwave transformers (son built one such ex-utube), so this 62yy restless soul will hang around and gladly share.
This looks like an honest-to-g'd repository of Human Knowledge, arguably deserving all kinds of safety backups possible, perhaps including a hard copy in stainless steel 'pages', as we cannot take Homo Sapien's current ability to decode a binary file at the flick of a PC's power switch for granted.
Heck of a good job methinks.
If you like workshops, definitely don't read this link: 14 Best Garages
