Thanks for additional photos, and explanations too. I better understand how it works. It looks quite easy to build, even with the helix angle, and It's also not too big to store.

I found three more pictures I had showing another part of my dividing attachment system. It is a dividing module that mounts to the cross slide and has it's spindle center line on the mini lathe center line. It can be used in two ways (1) for simple direct indexing using the lathe change gears and spring loaded detent (2) for compound indexing using the worm and hole plates from the spindle dividing head.
